Marghot Mantilla was born in Abancay Peru. She demonstrated her passion for the arts at a very early age appearing on childrens television programs, in school plays, and in several theatrical productions. She graduated from the National Music Conservatory of Peru becoming a professional Coloratura Soprano Singer. Marghot Mantilla continued educating her voice and making it even more magical with the help of the prestigious soprano teacher from Milan, Italy, Amorof Montagne. At a really early age, Marghot Mantilla, full name Sonia Marghot Gutierrez Mantilla, won First Place on the television show "Buscando Estrellas", the Latin version of "American Idol", giving her a tremendous amount of exposure and singing opportunities. Marghot Mantilla has been giving musical tours throughout Peru, South America and The United States.  This extraordinary artist has recorded two  Peruvian Music Albums.
